Eagle Hill ![]() ![]() ![]() Extracurricular ProgramsEagle Hill-Southport sponsors many extracurricular activities that engage students' interests and talents. The goal of this non-academic part of our program is to help students build self-esteem, promote responsibility and independence, and become active members of our school community. Students are encouraged to stretch themselves in order to discover new talents and capabilities. If a student is not involved in a team sport during the winter or spring, he or she is required to take two days of extracurricular activities and two days of physical education. The activities take place during the afternoon sports time period, which runs one hour and twenty minutes. ActivitiesActivities are a time for students to explore interests outside of their usual comfort zone and/or expand on the existing creative talents they already possess in a certain area. These one hour and twenty minute classes vary from year to year, but have included:

Student CouncilStudent Council activities promote school spirit and a sense of community responsibility. Our older students volunteer at local service organizations and help organize a variety of on-campus events. Student Council activities include:
